Karate Jutsu Kai is an internationally acclaimed style of Karate-do affiliated to the IBK (International Kyokushin Budokai Kan).

The style continues to evolve in today's society providing a firm basis for self-defence and a fitness regime, which challenges students both physically and mentally. Over time students soon develop a martial attitude and a clear understanding that Karate Jutsu can be implemented not only in combat, but in everyday life.

Summer Camp

At the end of the 2011 SummerCamp, there were plenty of promotions to Karate Jutsu Kai senior grades all of which were thoroughly deserved.  But for the Cardiff club we are very proud to welcome the promotion of 2nd Dan to Sempai Steve Broom and 1st dan to Sempai Andrea Jenkins, these grades are hard to achieve when you are young, but to achieve them when you are a bit older says a lot about the type of person they are, the physical part which comes first is a test in itself then we have the technical test which encompasses all that we were taught during the week and the majority of our syllabus.
Then finally comes the fighting part of the grading 40 fights for 2nd Dan and 30 fights for 1st Dan, one minute fights with no rest.
This is a pure test of spirit, can you carry on? Will you carry on? well they did and I am very proud for them not only for the Cardiff Karate Jutsu Kai but for Karate Jutsu Kai in general.I would also like to congratulate all thoes who took part at the SummerCamp and once again offer my sincere congratulations to all those who were promoted at the end of camp for their hard work over the years.
