Eastbourne & Hailsham Jutsu Kai Karate Club is again raising funds for

The Demelza Hospice Care for Children

To make a donation go to http://www.justgiving.com/Clifford-Bolt

This time in addition to the students performing a sponsored 1000 kicks and making a donation from the club’s annual championship the club instructor Shihan Cliff Bolt 5th dan and his son Matthew 2nd dan will be taking part in The Eastbourne half marathon, the Hastings half marathon and the Sussex marathon.  All funds raised will go to the Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

One of the reasons for rising money for Demelza is that as Karateka we train to discipline our bodies and minds and with that become better people and so a better community But as with most things in life if we don’t feel like training one evening we can say not today thanks. But the children and families cared for by Demelza cannot say “not today”, their illness is 24/7. So to train a little harder and put in a bit of extra effort to complete 1000 kicks or run a marathon is suddenly not too hard.

The Eastbourne and Hailsham Dojo's were opened by Shihan Cliff Bolt 5th Dan and are firmly established as  the leading running Karate clubs in the Eastboune & Hailsham area.
