Shihan Cliff Bolt 5th Dan opened the first club in Hailsham at the Groveland school in November 1993 as a Sempai 2nd Dan. Apart from the original Groveland’s school being replaced with a new building in the late 1990’s the Hailsham venue has not changed. Still under the guidance and tuition of Shihan Cliff Bolt Eastbourne & Hailsham Karate Jutsu Kai continues to go from strength to strength.
Shihan Cliff Bolt started his training in 1982 with Kancho Creton 9th Dan at the Hastings Dojo, where he steadily rose through the grades.
