Kokusai Karate Jutsu kai has been affiliated with the town of Maidstone for over 30 years, its doors having first opened to the general public in the 1970’s. Originally based at the Mote Park Pavillion, Maidstone and later at the Westborough Sport’s Centre, it was one of the first of many dojo’s across the country under the constant leadership of Kancho Bernard Creton.
Today Maidstone dojo remains an integral part of Kokusai Karate Jutsu Kai. Its past and present instructors remaining true to the guidance and ideology of Kancho Bernard Creton who has been the consistent factor since its creation.
Shihan Ryan Gordon 6th Dan
Currently under the guidance and tuition of Shihan Ryan Gordon (6th Dan) Maidstone Karate Jutsu Kai continues to go from strength to strength. Shihan Ryan Gordon started his training in 1978 and with Kancho Creton in 1981. Quickly demonstrating his potential Shihan Ryan trained hard to become a proficient martial artist. His skill and ability has been recognised nationally and internationally partaking in multiple national and international tournaments including the: EKGB British Open (UK), London and British Open Knockdown and of course many of Karate Jutsu Kai’s own tournaments. Today, Shihan Ryan continues to strive for the perfection and development of this art form. On his quest the students of the Maidstone Dojo benefit from his ability, passion and commitment in teaching and practising the true principles of karate and his continued life study of Karate Jutsu Kai under the leadership of Kancho Bernard Creton.
