Shihan Tim Goullett – 5th Dan

Ellie, Tim and Matt - KataShihan Tim Goullet 5th Dan, is a sports graduate and a qualified osteopath who has been training for 30 years.
" I was drawn to  Karate Jutsu initially as a very practical self defence system. The more I trained, the more I realised how good it was for fitness - strength,flexibility, balance and cardiovascular health - in short the best all round way to train the body and focus the mind."

Through his time training in Karate Jutsu he has competed in numerous tournaments, being one of the associations most successful competitors. With this knowledge and experience he has been Chief instructor at teh Sevenoaks Club for a number of years, producing many successful students.

 

Sempai Matt Bolt – 2nd Dan

Matt started training 18 years ago, aged 6, andcompleted his junior black belt (1st Dan) grading in 2003, and his senior black belt grading in 2006. Matt has been national champion in both Kumite (karate fighting), Kata and kickboxing tournaments at junior, cadet and senior level. Matt has taught children and adults at Eastbourne and Hailsham karate jutsu clubs for 5 years before moving to Guildford, where he is currently based. Matt completed his 2nd Dan black belt grading in July 2010, and is currently a member of the association National Squad, and NAtional Kata champion.

 

 

Sempai Ellie Murphy – 2nd Dan

Ellie started training 12 years ago, aged 12, and completed her senior black belt (1st dan) grading in 2005. Ellie has been national champion in kumite, kata and kickboxing at cadet and senior level. Ellie has taught as assistant-instructor at Maidstone karate jutsu club for 4 years before moving to London, where she is currently based.  Ellie completed her 2nd Dan black belt grading in July 2010, and is currently a member of the association National Squad. Ellie represented Karate Justu Kai at the German Open Knockdown tournament in Berlin in September 2010, winning the senior womens kumite category. Ellie continues to compete on the world stage, most recently competing in the IBK World cup in Holland.
